The Marauders first foray into the area of extreme sports - 250km from
Mildura to Swan Hill on the Saturday, followed by a short day on the Sunday
- just 150km from Swan Hill to Echuca. Needless to say, the partying was
pretty feeble.

The cunning great white leader was keen
to show his disappearing raw chop magic trick to the hostess with
his left hand, while the right hand drifted slowly towards her breast. |
 |
Roddy's championship game of pocket billiards
and the Gnome's story about why he doesn't have a chin was clearly
making the hostess sick to the stomach. |
 |
Roddy and Matt Woods were wondering where
the hell the rest of the team is. |
 |
Must be early on day one, because everyone
is still smiling and happy. |
 |
Bernie is living proof that even dog
ugly blokes can still have nice legs. |
 |
Gordie and Matt were right into Gus's
three hour dissertation on his ride in the 1934 tour of Mexico .... |
 |
.... in the third hour of the story,
they were pretty pleased to be able to lie down to hear the punchline. |
 |
"So anyway Ross, I don't think Sabey
was doing a magic trick last night, I think he really wanted to put
his hand on my breast!" |
 |
While Locke and Gordie showed the table
that it really was possible to eat at a restaurant without cutlery,
Ken showed how to have a nap in between courses. Gee, we learnt a
lot that night! |
 |
The great white leader was amazed that
McDonalds coffee was so good. He even shouted Gordie a cup and suggested
Friday breakfasts be relocated, Gus is holding up Sabey's 10/10 score. |
 |
The Marauder team were so quick, even
the cars couldn't keep up! And just look at that scenery. |
 |
The boys were absolutley stoked when
Lance Armstrong dropped by for a beer and a tactics chat. |
 |
We are sad to report that Roddy's zackery disease
has worsened. He has now developed 4 arse cleavages.
(If this is too subtle for you,
|
 |
Matt remained kitted up for safety in
the speed sausage eating comp - he was untouchable! |
 |
Foster did such a great organising job,
the team all sat down in recognition of his efforts so he could feel
"ten feet tall." |
